i know part of having “faith” is that you can’t exactly define the thing you believe in, or why it is what it is, you just believe it. but more often than not, it seems people who self-identify with a religion don’t even seem to know what they believe, or why. watch this trailer for bill maher’s documentary on religion, “Religulous“:

It’s an awesome film and unfortunately went unseen in large parts of the country. Bill Maher is my personal hero for making this movie.
i never did get anyone to go to the movies with me for it – but it’s now added to my queue!
coincidentally, i watched SAVED! on monday night. pleeze to watch if you haven’t already. it is teh greatest.
