a very merry christmas
thx to generous gifts this christmas, i am now 100% completely and totally out of debt.
this makes me extremely happy, and the best gift i could have received.
i have been slowly putting money away into my savings, but now i can really focus on doing that in larger chunks. the goal? to save enough to travel and satisfy my wanderlust, hopefully within the next calendar year.
yay!
despite the previous 3 posts, let me just say that i am very happy, thankful, and grateful this holiday season for everything i have in my life. i know i bitch a lot about the world going to shit, but i am thankfully only talking about the world beyond my personal life. it does affect me, yes, but my home, my health, my family, my job, my love - they are all doing well. and i couldn’t wish for anything more than that. i wish the same for everyone.

Woo hoo! Congratulations so much on the milestone of debt freedom. It is a good, good feeling. I love that many of us in our generation are getting this second, different (dare I say responsible) kind of freedom at this stage in our lives. It’s hard to do, so props to you.
