a cold & sunny sunday afternoon

this afternoon we went to see ramon and jessica, who we heard play live on KALX earlier this year, at red hill books in bernal heights. it was a cold but sunny sunday afternoon. the bookstore was small and cozy. they set out asparagus and wine and cookies. lots of parents came in with their toddlers. ramon and jessica smiled and sang and played guitars and violins and tiny pianos. the children and everyone else loved it. we leafed through books and tapped our feet. afterward we had yummy homemade mexican food, and then just went home. it was a great way to spend a sunday afternoon.
