david bowie never showed up
according to the doctor, this is what i experienced a couple of weeks ago for about a week:
“Labyrinthitis is an inflammation or dysfunction of the vestibular labyrinth (a system of intercommunicating cavities and canals in the inner ear). The syndrome is defined by the acute onset of vertigo, commonly associated with head or body movement. Vertigo is often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, or malaise.”
Rx? take OTC motion sickness medications if it happens again.
i was so stressed out about why i was feeling so weird, so dizzy, so about-to-fall over for days and days and days, afraid it was a seizure relapse, not to mention having trouble sleeping because the room was spinning all the time, that it culminated in the anxiety attack i had on the 14th. and then, one morning, i woke up and it was gone.
so, hey. i’m fine now, in case you were wondering (mom).

Thank you. Yes I was
Wow, I’m glad you’re over it. The world’s a better place with a healthy Amy in it!
I have to say, labyrinthitis???!!! That is the craziest sounding syndrome I’ve ever heard of, and now I’m picturing this insane drawing all coiled up inside your ear!
Well, if you have to have a health problem, at least it had a cool name that sounds like Dr. Seuss came up with….
