i loved thailand and would love to go back. anyone’s first time abroad is full of unexpected things, and having to navigate without speaking the language proved difficult, but doable. that was my only point. just because i note they don’t speak english doesn’t mean i think they SHOULD.

Here's a tip, learn some basic Thai before arriving. It's sooo condescending to expect the locals to know English, doncha think? Guess not.
